The parking in general is rather limited on the North Rim Trail, but in comparison there seems to be more at Lookout Point so the ranger suggestion parking there and walking from Lookout Point.

During covid it was fairly open but busier mid afternoon when the Williams train dropped off passengers. This is a great hike for people of all ages and abilities. The hike is a more technical one that would limit some people, so I discourage anyone who isn't really that "into hiking" to avoid this area. One can walk as little as you like or walk to another lookout and ride the free shuttle back to you starting point. Anyone should have a proble as it is mostly flat. Here the canyon transforms as the narrow walls of Marble Canyon, visible only as a winding gash, open dramatically to become "grand."
